It's been a while since I played Freelancer.
One of the many experiments I do and one of the few I actually like. The starfield sucks, the suns sucks even more, and I really wanted to add more details and stuff. But I'm very pleased with the planets. I'm enabling critiques so feel free to point out the screw-ups and give some advice Cinema 4D + Apophysis 2.09b + Terragen 0.943 + Photoshop CS4 Planets were done with help of =hoevelkamp's tutorials. Used ~grenouille-enchantee's brushes for the clouds. EDIT: I changed the stars a little. Thanks to *mayoofka for the suggestion. Comments
si quieres sugerencias.... cambiaria el brillo de las estrellas - cada una birlla igual

I like how the texture of the big gas giant looks plastical but it also flattens that planet by great deal. Those parts further from the edge should have been erased to avoid this ugly effect. It is mostly visible on the left side of the planet.
Moons shade should be more round - now it looks like the moon is somehow deformed. Its texture is also a bit more stretched then it should be - loosing its detail.
That slice of land on the bottom of the picture looks good but I would be satisfied even without it.
Starfield is like a coin - it has two sides. Bright and.. ..blurred
In overal - it's generally a standard piece (well - a bit higher standard) with some nice highlights but when we look closer, some unfortunate details emerge and diminish the size of impression.
